Miss Antoaneta Day qualified as a dental surgeon in 1986 from the University of Sofia in Bulgaria, arriving in Britain in 1990. From then until 1998, she worked within the Maxillo-Facial and Oral Surgery departments of a number of hospitals, holding the posts of Senior House Officer and Registrar.

In 1992, she was successful in passing the Statutory Entrance Examination for Overseas Dentists in the United Kingdom. The award of FFDRCS (Ireland) was to follow in 1994 along with an acceptance onto the General Dental Council's Specialist List for Surgical Dentistry in 1998.

From 1998, Miss Day worked as a part-time General Dental Practitioner in London whilst completing a Master of Clinical Dentistry Degree in Prosthodontics. Following further post-graduate training and part-time clinical attachment to Guy’s Dental Hospital, Miss Day was awarded the Masters in Restorative Dentistry (Prosthodontics) degree ensuring her second entry to the GDC list of specialists, this time in prosthodontics, the branch of dentistry dealing with the replacement of teeth and related mouth or jaw structures by artificial devices.

Miss. Day’s special areas of interest within dentistry include implants and full mouth reconstruction, whilst she also has a keen interest in the area of facial aesthetics, believing that a wonderful smile should be accompanied by a healthy, vibrant skin. Having completed an Advanced Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers Course, she is the ideal person to both recommend and carry out these exciting new developments in anti-ageing skin care.
